A Perfect Location

Jeanette snapped this photo this afternoon while I was sitting at our picnic table.  It was a perfect location for me to work on entering our bird list from our afternoon bird walk into the laptop and onto the Internet.

We have a perfect location for a campsite here at Lake Solano County Park, right on Putah Creek, not another camper in site.  In fact with 61 campsites, only thee other sites were occupied. Sites with water and electricity are $18 with senior discount, but we stepped up for an additional $10 for the Premium water front site #25. If you really want to save money, a site with out hook-ups with a senior discount are only $11.

We have discovered that Lake Solano County Park is a perfect location for birding as well.  We identified 41 different species on our morning walk and 39 species on our afternoon walk. Below are a couple of favorites from the day taken right from out campsite.
