Village Birders at Dallas City Park

This morning, April 4th, was the first trip of the spring Bus Birding Trips for the Village Birders from Dallas Retirement Village.  Dallas City Park was our destination, and our goal was for everyone to get to see the nesting Cooper's Hawks. We lucked out, found the nest, and then watched has the pair met for a copulation event. We had threatening rain but again where lucky with just a few sprinkles before getting back to the van.
